Kirstin
A passionate hotel specialist and project manager with experience, temperament, and vision.
Growing up in Merzig, just a stone's throw from Luxembourg, I learned my craft from the ground up – classically, thoroughly, and with respect for genuine hospitality. Trained at the Romantik Schlosshotel Fasanerie in Zweibrücken, I was still part of the old school: discipline, quality, and a keen sense of service shaped my entry into the hotel industry.
My curiosity for new people, new countries, and new paths drove me on. In England, I gained international experience at the renowned Red Lion Hotel in Salisbury. Afterward, I moved to Switzerland – and into the heart of the world's top-class hotel industry. At the Parkhotel Vereina in Klosters, I worked closely with the hotel management and was able to help shape true excellence.
Back in Luxembourg, I found my next challenge: For many years, I was responsible for representative customer service and organization in a demanding international environment at one of the country's largest banks.
Then, what was bound to happen happened – I met Thorsten. And with him, the idea of creating something of our own. Something authentic. In 2019, we founded the Domizil Team – out of a deep conviction that quality, reliability, and warmth are needed today more than ever, at a high professional level.

Hosts with heart, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit
Growing up in Mannheim, I learned my craft from the ground up – classically, thoroughly, and with a genuine respect for hospitality. My training at the Hotel Löwe in Mannheim was characterized by discipline, quality, and a keen sense for what guests truly appreciate. My first years of working took me to the Parkhotel Mannheim, where I deepened my knowledge and learned what it means to sustainably deliver excellent service.
As the son and grandson of a generation of construction workers, I also had the trade in my blood – planning, structure, and implementation were familiar to me. So I took over the management of a building renovation company in Neustadt an der Weinstraße and was responsible for complex projects in existing buildings. But despite my success in the construction world, the hotel industry never left me.
Holiday properties, hospitality culture, service at the highest level – that was and remains my true passion.
2019 was a turning point: Together with Kerstin, I founded the Domizil Team – with the goal of relieving the burden on owners, enhancing properties, and delighting guests. Today, we combine craftsmanship, hotel experience, and passion to create a comprehensive service that delivers exactly what hosts need today: reliability, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to quality.

We never wanted to be like the others.
Since our founding in 2019, we have pursued a clear vision: service at the highest level – precise, reliable, human.
What sets us apart is not just our standards, but our attitude. We don't just deliver performance—we think ahead, act proactively, and stand side by side with our customers.
In the Palatinate region, Heidelberg, and Baden-Baden, we have supported and accompanied small hotels and exclusive vacation properties, right up to the 5-star category, and jointly brought them to a new level. We have led housekeeping seminars in German hotels and accompanied construction projects from the shell to the finished guest reception – always with an eye for the big picture.
We ourselves come from the upper-class hotel industry—with 22 years of experience in 4- and 5-star hotels in Germany, England, and Switzerland. And our team? Consists of former professionals from the upscale hotel industry.
Our goal is clear: We don't just want to support our customers—we want to take them with us. To a new level. Together. Consistently. With true conviction.
